Im 12w3 day its my first pregnancy and im 26 . The next text that i was sent to do is only afp test (which done in 15-16 weeks..). Im origenly not from the US, and were i come from everyone is doing the nt scan (which is limited in time and can be done only between 11-14 weeks...) ... When i talk about it with the ob he told my that this is consedering as an old test that only if we see somthing odd thow out the way in other tests we the the woman to do it. 

I understand that the policy here in the US is less ultrasound as possible because its not good for the baby..

So my q is do you alsow skip this test? We have really good insurance so its not a money problam.. Its just hard for me here which is so different from home.
