Baby Spitting up out of nose/choking
My little one will be 4 weeks on Friday she was mainly breastfed but would have formula at the end of feedings but now she’s pretty much just formula fed and since the hospital she’s has issues with formula spiting up out of her nose after feeds. I’ve brought this up to her doctor and they recommended having her sit up for 45 minutes after feedings(which is so hard to do in the middle of the night) but we’ve been doing it. I still don’t think it helps, we feed her, burp her and sit her up then when we lie her down for bedtime she’s choking and spitting up out her nose we literally have to suction her nose it’s pretty scary especially when she wakes up in the middle of the night doing this. I worry that one night her dad or I won’t hear her. I switched her formula to enfamil gentleease and I think it has helped a little but not as much.. Is this common ? Has anyone else’s baby gone through this, this is my first baby and this really worries me that she may have digestion issues or some other condition
