I feel so lost right now trying to figure out where it is that I am going wrong.

Since my son has started kindergarten he has become the most defiant, talking back, attitude, mean kid and I don’t understand why.

I have tried the approach of talking to him to try and understand what it is that’s going on with him, we resolve the issue and it works for a couple days and then he reverts back to the same thing I have done the whole taking toys away punishment thing again works for a couple days and then goes back to the same thing.

I really do not want to put my hands on him because I was physically abused as a child and I don’t want to re-create that scenario with my own child. But I really do not know what to do at this point.

Any advice? Am I the only person that’s going through this?
