Glucose test makes you sleepy ?!

Question

As soon as I drank the liquid for the sugar test I felt nauseated and super sleepy 😴 and lightheaded . I didn’t have that with my son . Has anyone felt the same way and passed the glucose test ? Did anyone have similar symptoms ?

I did a 3 hour test, the drink was so disgustingly sweet and on top of that I didn't eat for 12+ hours which made me a bit sleepy. I ended up driving by myself after that but ate something right away so it helped a bit. Surprisingly I passed my GD test!! Thank goodness, I did not wanna do diet at all lol

I felt sleepy at first then right when they went to take my blood out it felt like I was about to pass out ( not scared of needles  and never experienced that before ) then I felt sick and threw up . I passed surprisingly

My doctor warned me not to drive myself because I may react that way. I was DEAD TIRED. And crashed for a long time afterwards. I definitely passed, in fact my blood sugar was quite LOW.

I had my glucose test last week for first time ever, didn't know what to expect but yes I felt very very sleepy after drinking the glucose solution and I felt abit light headed, after coming home from hospital I just stayed in bed all day, had no energy what so ever

After I finished drinking mines I literally went to the waiting room and passed out for the hour I was waiting. My grandma came with me because my doctor told me not to drive. She left after I got done drinking the stuff they give you to go the dmv. By the time I woke up she was already back and they were calling my name I slept through my blood draw. My sugar levels came back normal.
