High blood pressure

So I've been having issues with my blood pressure being high, I went in today for the doctor's appointment my blood pressure was 186 / 110 so they had me lay down On my left side. Came back my blood pressure was 129 over a 100 but every time I get up my blood pressure shoots up into the one eighties I asked the doctor what do you want me to do he just said lay down when you feel bad. I feel bad every time I get up but I have to get up because I have 2 children that go to school and I have to take care of them I have no support system other than my husband I am 37 weeks pregnant
