Have you let your little one spend the night with family yet?

Question

Im about 6 months pregnant and could really use time away from my son every now and then but I have never let him spend the time away from me. We still cosleep and dang near spend every moment beside my 5 hours at work with each other. It's even gotten to the point we shower together because it easier than bending over the bathtub.

My 1 year old and 2.5 year old usually spend one night a week at my mums house :) she loves the special time with them, and I loving having a night purely to myself!!

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. But I personally haven't and won't. With the exception of when I was in labor, I haven't even let my 4.5 y/o or 3 y/o stay away from home yet.

Yes. Sort of. When I gave birth to my third my mom came and spent a few days with our older two (June 2019 & June 2020 babes). 
We’re considering leaving them for a night or two with my parents for our anniversary so we can do a little mini getaway but I’m not fully decided on it. 
If you are comfortable with it, there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s really 100% about how you feel.

I haven’t yet. I would let my little one stay with my mom overnight but she is the only one I trust that much. I have a work trip in November for four nights. My mom is flying to town to help my husband and that will be the first time I’m away from her.

Not yet. I think our eldest was nearly two when we spent a night away while a a wedding where children were not allowed.

I have always allowed my son to go to my in laws over night. He was there this past weekend while we attended a wedding. I welcome those nights that I can sleep without the monitor on, and the mornings I seldom get to sleep in past 730.

My 15 month old will not be spending any nights without me until I give birth to baby two. But I’ve decided that the person staying to watch him will come stay at my house for the duration of the days I’m in the hospital and his dad will come home and see him often

I'm due in January with #2. My June baby will be staying at my moms while I'm at the hospital so we've talked about letting him stay at her house before the time comes just so he understands he can sleep there too. I just hate to see him have a difficult adjustment if we just drop him and go... I wouldn't allow him to stay anywhere else though.
