I hate nicknames, probably because I had stupid ones as a kid and I always said I would NEVER name my kid something just to call them by another name. Example if I didn't want to call my kid Alexander I wanted to call them alex I would name them alex. So here's my point....

My husband and I finally picked baby names:

Girl is Riley Nichole

Boy is Jeremiah James

Of course my husband had to tick me off by saying people will call him JJ, to which I responded "I will correct them"

I love my boy name a lot! But should I reconsider or just tell people, if they try to, not to call my son JJ?
