Ear pain?

my room has gotten EXTREMELY cold due to the weather change where I live and i started feeling a little sick like nose congested and dry throat. once that started i’ve been getting really sharp pain in one of my ears when i inhale really big and feels a little clogged/pressure. Could it be something related to that or something more serious? My friend screamed in my ear extremely loud last week and it hurt for a second but i’m not sure if that alone can cause damage to my ear drum. I don’t want to go to the doctor if this is something small, i’ve been in and out too many times due to my hypochondria. please let me know if you’ve had any of the same experiences or if you hav want advice, or anything at all.
