Do other men do this or is it just my husband ?

My husband can stay up for hours talking to his friends but when it comes to me he can hardly hold a conversation. He tells me that he loves to be around me but he leaves the house every chance he gets, and he stays out for hours. The only time we spend time together is when we’re getting ready to have sex.

Sounds like be tells you what he wants you hear,  gets what he wants and invests his time with those he WANTS to be around 
Sure it's ok to have friends but you should not spend more time with your friends then your family 
And if so then why do you have your family? 
Something  not right and the relationship needs further work if you want it to improve 
If you settle for this it will continue and not change

I'd be out of that relationship very quickly. My husband and I spend nearly ALL of our time together. Some would say it's probably too much but we dont enjoy being apart from one another. We always just end up missing each other

Red flag. I would suspect cheating. My husband doesn’t talk to his friends on the phone lol he barley txts! And I usually see him doing it cause he rather stay home lol

Only thing I can think besides what others said is if you spend too much time together maybe things have been exhausted a bit. Maybe the relationship id a bit worn. If you dont feel what the others are saying id take some time apart. There is such a thing with too much time spent together with most relationships

It's not OK... You should talk with him about this. My husband never leaves the house without me, or idk let me alone in the house and go have drinks with his friends. We are a family, we go together every time anywhere. He is going to alone to eat, with a friend maybe when it s like 12 or 1 pm, have a lunch break from work, and eat then with somebody bc I work too. We are spending time together like watching movies and eat junk food, doing baths together ( not in a sexul way, just relaxing). Last night I did a home spa for him bc it was a hard week ( candles all over the bathroom, relaxing music, a mask, i even exfoliating his skin 😂, a bath with milk and honey, etc).
I believe you should talk about this because later can affect your relationship. It's not OK for you to be left alone, or feel like he doesn't give you attention. Remember, you always talk about something you Don t like. I did this from the beginning of the relationship. It's like, how you " form" your relationship from the begging, it's always going to stay like that, things are not going to change "later"
Tell him, at first he's not going to listen, but if you insist, he will 😘
