first time anal

hey guys, hope everyone is doing well :)))

my boyfriend and I are thinking of trying anal (neither of us have ever done it before) I’ve heard that u shouldn’t have vaginal sex right after anal bc of bacteria, and I’m wondering if the same thing applies for having anal sex right after vaginal sex ? like can I get any kind of anal infection from transferring vaginal bacteria to the anus, the same way it’s possible to get an infection from anal bacteria being transferred to the vagina?

pls note I’m not actually planning on going straight from one to the other anyway, but I’m just curious to know a bit more abt it all ! any answers or advice is appreciated, stay safe everyone X
