Think about posting something very personal then decide not to do it? Why?

I literally just typed up an entire post then hit the back button. Thought better of it. I know at least one person on here and I've seen people here who are from areas I live(d) and so on; not worth the drama.

Social media is warping our brains! Why do we over share these days?!  😩

I never do. No selfies, no photos of the kids, no real names. My country is small so I've been lucky so far to run into nobody that I know personally, on here. But I always think 'what if' the only thing that I post on here that is 100% genuine is opinion.

I've always been an open book. I actually think it's amusing when I make people shocked and uncomfortable with how much I'll say about myself. But I only do this with adults - never kids. Unless they ask. I'm terribly blunt and it's gotten me on trouble a few times. Workin on fixing that.

The only times I've ever written up a post and then hit the back button were when I figured it wasn't important enough, or when I figured I could just look it up on google.
