C section mamas what did your doctor tell you about lifting? In my discharge papers I got no restrictions at all but the nurse told me to only lift my baby. Then when I went back to get my blood pressure checked I asked about the car seat and the nurse at my ob’s office said I can lift it as long as I don’t feel like I’m straining. Well the times I lift the car seat to go grocery shopping or today I went to brunch by the end of the day my incision area feels tight and my back feels super sore. Wondering if I should not be lifting the car seat!
