Confused

I had a miscarriage, confirmed 12-2. My spotting started 11-23, anyways so today I went in for what was supposed to be my first prenatal ultrasound. Ended up that it was an ultrasound to see if everything cleared out. There is something getting blood flow. They said it could be leftover tissue or a polyp. She said it looks more like a polyp. I go next week for another ultrasound. So my question is has anyone gone through this????
