What does this mean on car seat?

I have the Chico key fit 30 and just noticed this and my baby is 2months and was born 5lbs and at his 2week checkup he was almost 8lbs. And he’s gotten way heavier since then and chunkier so im pretty sure he’s more than 11pounds. What’s does that little sign mean in the car seat? Do I need a new one or something im a little lost.

I have the same car seat. That’s the new born insert and should take it out once baby exceeds 11lbs.

I think it means that insert is for newborns in that weight range. Once over the 11 pounds take the insert out

It means the insert is for babies up to 11 lbs :) you can still use the car seat, just not the insert :)

You need to remove the newborn insert after baby reaches 11lbs. It's literally just that piece of fabric the tag is attached to.

This extra padding gets removed at 11 pounds. It’s the insert that needs to be removed. I used the chicco seat for my baby and was confused about this also.
