How does plan b works?

Can you get pregnant after using plan b emergency oral contraceptives. I used plan b to prevent pregnancy two days after I had sex. It was my fertile window. The leaflet say u can take it up to 72 hours after unprotected sex. My period is 11 days late not sure if I’m pregnant or if it’s a side effect of the medication. Does any one know how this medication works please ? I’m scared to take a pregnancy test.

Better takes a test. Bc you were ovulating already it’s severely decreased the chances of it working correctly not to mention you took it 2days after. Once again lowering the effectiveness.

I was ovulating and took a plan b an hour after having unprotected sex With my partner and Still got pregnant. I would take a pregnant test in a week or so to make sure.

Yes you can still get pregnant after using plan B especially since you waited 2 days after. I would take a test just to make sure though it could still be Plan B just messing up your cycle.
