Can smoking affect the chance of pregnancy?

Hey loves, I am a newbie in TTC, and have a question about smoking. I am not a smoker but I used to smoke in my college year. Lately the TTC got my stressed out and I’ve smoking 2 times a day just to get the dozy feeling from the nicotine. I am not planning to to do for long term, but would this short term habit affect my chance of getting pregnant?

I was a smoker at the beginning of all my pregnancies. Its recommended you quiet before you conceive but its never caused any issues with me. I just quiet smoking again (like my 100th time. 😅😒)its really not easy unless you can set your mind. I replaced smoking with snacking on fruit and sometimes chocolate to keep my hand and mouth moving and get some yummy needs of vitamins.  And sweets...  lol
