Is a photo of my toe, so pre-warning for anyone who doesn't like feet! Any idea what this could be?

I stopped wearing nail polish about 6months ago because I noticed my toes looked unhealthy. But recently my toenail has turn like this. 
Has anyone else had something like this before? 
Does my toenail look like it will fall off?

Toenail fungus. You can get medication from a pharmacy for it. No polish til its fully treated.

Fungus,  maybe from wearing a dark nail polish for too long.  Tea tree oil will help clear that right up.
