Why are period symptoms so close to being pregnancy symptoms too!

I’m a day away from possibly getting my period 🤦🏻‍♂️ I took a pregnancy test today BFN😭 but I have the most painful breast some cramping but not really and I’m getting nauseous with random foods I really hope I just test positive soon! I’ve never found out of being pregnant until after my missed period legit like 1 day after I miss my period so hopefully it’s the case this time! 😬😬 🪄 baby dust to everyone on this TTC journey!!

It's soooo annoying.
In my last cycle I was getting my hopes up because my boobs hurtled and I got nauseated. The nausea was new but the sore boobs I knew could be a period symptom. And unfortunately it was 😅
I'm not sure logging and testing is gonna be the right route for me, because I cannot keep my mind off things 😂
