I had laparoscopic surgery in March they removed an endometreoma, cleaned up stage 4 endo, removed septum dividing my uterus. Took 2 weeks recovery and 1 month to start ttc. July a uterine polyp was found and removed. 2 days recovery. Here we are September and still ttc another cyst was found on ultrasound we are waiting to see if it goes away on its own because I really don’t want to get cut open again unless it’s to deliver a child. This has been so frustrating after 1.5yrs ttc and 6 years off birth control. Currently taking metformin 500mg to help stimulate my hormones.

I’ve had multiple laparoscopic surgeries, I didn’t get pregnant after any of them, at least till this year, my last lap was in June 2020 and I got pregnant this year twice but ended in loss. As for healing, each surgery has been different. I’ve had one done and went back to work about 4-5 days later, but also had one and it took about 2 months to heal. So just depends on what they do and how severe things are, how your body heals, etc.

Surgery can help, but it never guarantees pregnancy unfortunately.

The first few days were the hardest but I was feeling really good after a week and 100% back to normal after 2 weeks. I had a cyst and stage 4 endo removed. I actually conceived the first full cycle I had afterwards but it ended in a chemical pregnancy. That was 6 months ago. Just started my first letrozole cycle this month. Good luck!
