How do u Chlamydia while pregnant when you or your partner are not cheating ? How ? Please some body tell me how did this happen ? Me or my husband not cheating on each other we both faithful how did I get Chlamydia? If I get treated do he have to to ?

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease. Literally the *only* way to contract it is through sex with an infected person. So if you tested negative for it prior to pregnancy and then tested positive during pregnancy, either you or your partner cheated with an infected person.

Chlamydia doesn’t just show up, someone was unfortunately unfaithful. You probably read about BV, BV just makes you more prone to getting chlamydia. So he caught it & passed it to you. (Assuming you weren’t the one who cheated)

Like everyone else said,  but also asking did you test negative before or during pregnancy/ were you ever tested? That particular STD can be silent for years and if you had never been tested before it is possible no one did cheat and you just had the infection for a long time

Look up stories of women testing falsely positive for it while pregnant it’s actually quite common, I tested positive while pregnant & my husband was negative but they wanted to treat me so they gave me the pill & I threw it up like I literally saw the pill in my throw up & when I went back I tested negative 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ don’t just listen to some of these women & assume he cheated. If you have no reason to think he’s cheating then don’t start just due to this.
