Elvie pump

Question

Is an elvie pump worth it? I just realized it’s HSA eligible so I’m highly considering it but I also have a spectra that I got with my insurance. FTM, baby due in 4 weeks. Should I wait and see?Thoughts?

Answer

I had both the Spectra and Elvie with my first. For me, the Spectra worked much better. The Elvie was convenient, but I needed to be more hands on with my pumping or it wouldn’t always work and the Elvie doesn’t really allow that. I also found the parts to be a little more annoying to clean. Some women have a LOT of success with the Elvie, so I wouldn’t rule it out though!
