11 months postpartum and have been having regular periods since 3 months postpartum (usually 6 days and not heavy)......this one started out pretty light and now is super heavy and seeming to last longer than the usual 5-6 days and is painful. At my 6 week appointment my OB was concerned about me having possible late postpartum hemorrhage....could this have anything to do with it? I haven't had any problems until now. Should I be concerned? Anyone have any insight? Also I'm not on birth control.
