When to test and why?

Alright ladies. I have seen SOOO many of you posting your pregnancy tests questioning if it is a BFP or line eyes. What is the reasoning for testing so early? I have always told myself I was not allowed to test until AF was at least 3 days late, but this month that date is Christmas. And after a recent MC I am a little emotional and I really don't want a BFN on Christmas Day.

Some women are so desperate for that BFP that they have no self-control. Unfortunately we tend to drive ourselves crazy (sometimes literally) when TTC And we obsess over all the tests and tracking techniques. I'm not criticizing just stating the truth. I'm just as guilty

Some of us have had medical issues that we need to know sooner so we can get progesterone levels checked or prescriptions that need to be taken to sustain a pregnancy ;) So we need to know sooner rather than later.
