A lot of people want to jump into immediately it being a tool for stalking your significant other cause you don’t trust them, but there are so many practical reasons to have it on.

- We use it when we hike (leave one in the locked car and the other we bring with us so we can always find our way back to the car even if it’s late)

- Helps locate misplaced phones (husband was convinced he brought his phone home from his parent’s house, quick search showed… nope. And we didn’t tear the house up looking for it)

- Helps locate lost phone (dropped my phone while hiking and was able to find it quickly with the tool)

- I hit a deer on a back road and didn’t know exactly where I was when I called, my husband was able to find me easily.

- When we go to the mall (or large area) and get separated I don’t have to text or call him to see which store he’s in I can see the general area and I head that way

- If one of us is at the store shopping we use it to see if the person has left instead of calling them on their way home and telling them we need something else.

I know the tool can be used like a stalker’s best friend, and can easily be mismanaged by those will less than good intentions, but there are a ton of practical reasons to use it. A couple can be completely trusting of one another and have it turned on. I don’t have the urge to “just check where he is” cause it’s turned on. I respect his right to go where he wants unbeknownst to me.(especially if it means I get surprise gifts from it :D)

I feel sorry for the people who see it so black and white to say if you have it on you don’t trust your significant other. It’s preventing them from a great opportunity to make life a little bit easier for the family.
