What are things kids should know in Kindergarten

Question

What should kids be able to do on there own when going to kindergarten? 
What should kids be practicing at home to prepare for kindergarten on social & educational learning. 
I'm super concerned about school Kindergarten seems like such a grown up thing going to the bathroom by themselves, going to class, going on school bus it's frightening I worry about did they make friends, did they eat lunch my main thing were they okay.
How do you moms let your kids go off to elementary its such a hard task!

They need to know their colors, be able to count and recognize 0-20 numbers. They need to know all of there alphabet letters as well as their sounds. They need to know their shapes (Circle, rectangle, square and triangle). They need to be able to write their own name. And at that age they should be able to read. They read CVC words mostly.

You can look up your state’s requirements. If you want to know what they’ll learn look up kindergarten graduation requirements or something like what does a kid need to know to enter first grade.
I’m going to homeschool. 
He’ll learn 
0-20(writing) 
Colors
Write/recognize upper & lower case letters & there sounds 
Sight words (look up dolch kindergarten) 
Shapes 
Animals 
Life skills 
And that’s all I can think of at this moment. He’ll be taught all year but our state only requires 180 days. And we’ll do a block style schedule. 
He’ll also get in the kitchen as part of life skill time.

My daughter is in preschool and the teachers there are getting her ready for kindergarten. So far they told me that before kindergarten she should be able to go to the bathroom all by herself, open her backpack and unpack it on her own (so she should know what’s in it), be able to take off and put on her own shoes, open her lunchbox/drink and eat on her own, and basically be independent with taking care of herself. Everything else is taught. She doesn’t need to know numbers, letters, shapes, colors, etc. although probably by then she would know some of these anyways.

Look up state’s requirements but definitely going to the bathroom by themselves and wiping. My state would like them to at least know how to write their names
