Colposcopy During Pregnancy

Would you get a colposcopy during pregnancy?

I’m in need for one, doctor wants to make an apt to have one. I’m VERY early in pregnancy. My mom says not to do it and wait til after baby is born.

I read that they can cause miscarriages AND my husband is getting fixed since this is my third pregnancy and baby was not planned. I want this baby so badly! Haven’t even been to our first scan yet and praying for a sticky, healthy baby and bringing this baby home to his/her sisters!

What do you’ll think? I’m def on the side of NOT doing it, just scared not doing it may be harmful to baby of me (although I have put this off for quite some time)… 😩
