Bleeding while brushing

I feel like this is a dumb question . But I never went through this with my other two live pregnancies. Is it normal for your gums to bleed so much while brushing ? When I brush my gums bleed so much to where it look like I’m brushing with red toothpaste. 🤢 what can I do to help the bleeding ? it isn’t painful just disturbing.
