So today (Tuesday) my husband and I have court because my husband is trying to adopt my daughter.

A little back story- I was married once before and he up and left when I got pregnant. I had to file for divorce through publication in a newspaper because I had no idea where he was and I still don't. I even contacted my ex-mother in law a few months ago to ask about him to see if he would sign over his parental rights and she told me that I do NOT want to contact him unless absolutely necessary. She said she is scared how he would react and that is he not mentally stable.

My daughter is 4 now and my ex has never once tried to make contact. My now husband and I have been together since my daughter was 8 months old and he is the only dad she has ever known. My husband has completely taken her in and his own and treats her so wonderfully. I am hoping to God that the judge rules in our favor today. 🤞🤞
