My due date is tomorrow and I've have 2 unsuccessful membrane sweeps (one last Friday and one on Tuesdsy). I'm being induced Wednesday at 40w5d. I'm 80-90% effaced, 4.5cm dilated and the baby's head is at zero station (right at the opening of my cervix). I was just wondering how successful induction is?? I really want to avoid a C section. Does induction usually work? My water broke with my first daughter and contractions just stated naturally and I had her 10 hours later. A little nervous. Thoughts?
