My 4 year old does not listen at all! From what we hear he is great at school and does well at daycare, but he is really struggling at home and during extracurriculars (I.e. his gymnastics class where he decides he can just do whatever he feels like even though his coach has pulled him aside 10 times and told him the expectations).

We are trying gentle parenting as we quickly discovered that he does not respond well to raising our voices or trying other consequences but I am at my absolute wit’s end! He has started talking back to me over the last few weeks. He doesn’t do it to my husband, only me. I am beyond stressed and I just don’t know what to do to help him (and us)! He is seriously the sweetest little boy but it’s so hard to see that when we’re constantly battling with him over everything.
