So I work in a hospital and every morning we have to do a fit for work questionnaire where it asks if you have any covid symptoms and what not and if you fail then you need to stay home from work. Well one of my co workers has been coming to work, knowing full well that she is sick with something but because she doesn’t want to be bothered with phoning in she just keeps coming with her symptoms and all. Today I came home from work and started to develop a sore throat, cough and runny nose (thanks to my coworker). I’ve been so careful as I have 2 children under the age of 12 so they can’t be vaccinated yet, I’m fully vaccinated and have been trying so hard to keep them healthy. Now I’ll be the responsible one tomorrow and actually phone I’m sick as there’s no way I would pass the fit for work with these symptoms. Plus I would never want to put my fellow co workers or anyone else at risk. Now I’m just hoping it’s a cold and not Covid.
