Switching Providers

I need suggestions and opinions WITHOUT judgements please...

I'm 26weeks and 5days pregnant. I have my prenatal appointment for the month of Decemeber tomorrow. I am no longer seeing a High risk OB, and I have my days on when I'm feeling good and bad. Im actually wanting to switch providers and go with a midwife at a birthing center. Do you think its too late? Do you think it would be unsmart to do that this far into my pregnancy? I really want this )=
