Which do you think is more true?

People and parents are too hard on teachers and expect too much from them with the small amount of resources teachers these days have 
Or
Teachers are not up to par and are slacking/lazy with their responsibilities or are generally just not good educators

Just like every profession, some people are superb at their jobs and others not so much. Some teachers will be great, some will not be. I think most teachers care and love children. I don’t know why else you’d waste time becoming one in college if you didn’t.

Both. It’s absurd to make a blanket statement that all parents are too hard on teachers, or that all teachers are lazy. Some parents are too hard on teachers and some teachers are lazy. Some parents don’t care what teachers do and some teachers are super amazing.

I think it is a bit of both. As my daughter’s principal at the school left during the summer holidays and we were not informed! But some teachers do try their best to help you and some parents are lazy and rude!

Both are true. It depends on the person. I’ve known amazing and fantastic teachers. I’ve also been bullied by teachers who got themselves fired the year after I left their school because they duct taped a kid’s mouth shut.

Both. I absolutely had incompetent teachers growing up. But I also had fantastic ones that teachers would blame when their students were failing the class.
