38 weeks + 2 days Membrane Sweep Update

I’m updating from my last post just for me to look back on.

Baby boy is still measuring a full week early so we’re at 39 weeks!

Yesterday at my appointment I found out that I am now dilated to 4cm. Due to having polyhydramnios the doctors are wanting to induce by next week. We did a membrane sweep to see if that would get things going.

Immediately after I had intense cramps and spotting. I stayed active. Walking, yoga ball, deep cleaned the house. The cramps lasted all day and throughout the night. I had inconsistent contractions all day. They finally picked up every 5 mins for two hours but spaced back out. I had a couple wake me throughout the night but I was able to fall back asleep.

This morning I woke up to very loose BM. I can’t stay out of the bathroom. I’m super nauseous. I honestly feel like I have the flu. I’ve started cramping again with some lightening pains. I lost a huge chunk of my mucus plug and cramps have gotten a bit worse since.

PRAYING this is the start of labor! I’d love for him to come before the induction next week.
