Should i even try

Hi I'm 20and I've really liked this guy since I was 18 but then he got married 2013 earlier this year him and his wife got a divorced and then we started talking again should I even try to be with him he has little girls while I dnt have kids and I love his little girls I'm just unsure if we should try dating even though we have had sex the last 3 months I need some advice can anyone help?
