Different style cribs

Question

Trying to decide between these two crib styles. Any tips or advice from experience if you prefer one over the other would be helpful. Thanks in advance!😄

I like #2  most people don't know this but if you buy a convertible crib later on you have to buy the conversion kit which almost always cost a ridiculous amount I have two cribs 1 the conversion kit cost $100 and the other cost 60 never bought the kit because it was always out of stock my kids are two and three now and they just sleep in a queen size bed with bumper rails

Personally, I like the ones with a solid back. My kids have always gotten their legs or arms between the slats and for me it’s easier if they only get them “stuck” between the easy to reach areas. I mean the mesh bumper things work to a point, if you want to use them on all 4 sides.

I personally like the cribs that have at least one backside/headboard that’s solid vs more slats. Less space for baby to eventually stick their leg/arm through. But I actually have both styles. I have the solid back for the baby and then I bought a cheaper crib that has the slats all around that my oldest went into when the baby came home. Now I’m pregnant with #3 so my oldest moves to a bed, middle child will move to the slatted crib, and baby will get the solid back crib once they arrive
