When and how did your baby start laughing?

My 16 week old laughed once in the AM and that’s it. He’ll get loud and smile but no laugh.

Some babies just really make you work for the giggles. My almost 4 month old giggles easily. My 2.5 year old daughter took forever to give a good laugh.

My 19 week old mostly smiles and squeals, but a really good tickle from my husband’s bearded face will get us a giggle 😂

Mine turned 4 months this week (not sure how many weeks I stop counting age in weeks once I can just use months) and she laughs out loud quite a bit. Usually I can tickle her and it makes her giggle out loud, and often times just talking to her all giddy makes her laugh also. She laughs at her sister when she’s playing too.

Mine is 18 weeks and I wouldn’t say she’s laughed- tonss of smiles and huge grins and a couple of times something that resembled a giggle, maybe??

I’d say my little one started smiling a lot around 8 weeks and then from there began to laugh a little here and there. Now at 14 weeks he has full belly laughs. We have to dance very dramatically/goofy to get a full belly laugh. Smaller laughs are sticking out our tongues doing little raspberry sounds. He will randomly just laugh if we say something sometimes for instance this evening I asked if he was stinky and ready for his bath and he couldn’t stop laughing. Every child is different though.

My guy giggles when our faces are far apart and then come close together, either when he’s on the floor and I do push-ups over him (not exercising, but playing with him) or if I hold him up and bring him closer to my face
