So I figured I'd share my hair pulling story of not being able to see anything on an early scan..

So the first day of my last period was Oct 25th. Which, as of today should put me at like 6w4d or so.. WRONG!

I had some bleeding 4 days ago and went to the ER.. they couldn't see anything. Scheduled and ultrasound for the next day.. all they could see was an empty sac.. no baby

Fastforward to today.. saw an actual baby doctor with an MD and am only measuring just over 5 weeks and could see the faintest startings of a heartbeat..

So here was my question.. how am I so far behind.. his answer.. you can take an entire week to implant after you technically get pregnant. Your little blastocyst can essentially float around for 7 entire days before implantation..

So if they're not seeing anything on the ultrasound. . Don't panic yet. You could have ovulated later or implanted later. No one is out until they confirm a MC.
