LO is having bouts of diarrhea today. Already his 4th diarrhea diaper. The last two have been tinged with mucus. Formula baby, as we weened of breast 4 weeks ago. Yes, I’ve contacted the pediatrician. He said as long as wet diapers are normal, no fever or blood in stool, just to keep him hydrated and eating and call back if it persists more than 72 hours. Doctor said either virus or milk intolerance can be the cause. We haven’t changed the formula since birth ( his was always breast and formula) so not sure. I think old milk might be the culprit. Dad gave baby overnight bottle, confused with the new one. Im hoping it’s just an upset stomach and not a virus :( Any other moms went or going through this? My middle children just went through covid 6 weeks ago and have fully recovered, so I’m on the edge. Could use some support and advice!
