Depends how big the baby is. I have GD and my little girl is measuring at 41st percentile as of 34 weeks, so dr said there’s no reason she can’t come on her own timetable.

My doctor said she will let me go up till 40 weeks if baby is not measuring big and all measurements stay in range. But she will induce me at 40 weeks even if measurements are ok.

All depends on how big your baby is based on measurements and what your ob wants to do... i had GD with both my kids and I was induced with my first at 39 weeks and he was 8lbs7oz..
My water broke with my daughter at 39 weeks as well and she was 10lbs1oz…
