Hi,

Looking for some insight about returning to work from maternity leave.. How soon did you return ? how did you feel ?? I’m currently on week 7 of maternity leave, I get 12 weeks in total and all I can think about is returning to work and what to do about my baby. My daughter is 6 weeks old when I go back she’ll be 12 weeks but I just feel like that’s so little to leave her. I’m a preschool teacher which also has a daycare for infants as little as 6 weeks and my boss is currently holding open a spot for her in case i decide to bring her with me to work but i just don’t trust anybody yet that isn’t family so i don’t know if that’s even an option.. I also fear that me working 8 hrs a day 5 days a week while she’s so young could affect our bond, plus i’m just getting the hang of breastfeeding i’ll probably have to stop.. I could leave her home with family and return to work or bring her to work with me but I still wouldn’t see her all day, or I could put off returning to work..
