Is it ok to TTC with suspected UTI?

I know, I should probably just call a doctor but I’ve never been much of an advocate for medicine unless absolutely necessary… I’m supposed to ovulate in a few days. Just this morning I’ve been having symptoms of a UTI. Usually I can get them to go away naturally just by drinking lots of water but I was wondering if it’s still ok to try to conceive this month. I’m 37 and I really don’t want to skip trying!

My Dr. told me I would have to hold off on my IUI a few months ago until mine cleared because it interferes with fertility. They prescribed an antibiotic and 5 days later it was gone.

I’ve done it. Nothing bad happened but you definitely should see a doctor for antibiotics

You definitely shouldn't be having sex while you have a UTI

Yes, you can try but it could make it so that you don’t get pregnant I think.
