My son will be two around Christmas and I really want to start trying for another around that time or a few months later. My husband isn’t really on board and I don’t really know what to do now. He has another son from a previously relationship who is a teenager and he feels another baby will take away from his relationship with his older son. I feel like it won’t because his son is going to want to spend less and less time actually at home with us because he’s getting older. My husband basically said he’s not at all comfortable with having another baby and feels we’re not in a good place to do it and I don’t agree. He said we can wait 3-4 years and see where are but I don’t want to have a baby after 35 based on recommendation from my doctor and family members who have had issues with pregnancies in their late 30’s. I’m just so lost now. I don’t want to do and my heart hurts.
