So we’re on day 3 of potty training my 2 year old son. He’s doing great only 3 accidents so far in total!!! The problem is, he forgot how to pee… If that makes sense. When I put him on the toilet he gets really exited to watch himself pee but he clenches and pushes at the same time so he gets out of breath and never empties his bladder. So even though I’m not giving him a ton of liquid, we go to the toilet very often (every few minutes sometimes) and he just pees a little bit and he says he’s done. He gets very frustrated sometimes because he tells me he has to go, feels he has to go, but when he tries to go he’s holding it and pushing at the same time so nothing comes out and he does “🤷‍♂️”

I’m not sure how to stop him from clenching and holding it and just get him to release. Any tips?
