Weird diaper rash?

My one year old has had a diaper rash for a few days and we’ve been loading up with cream/frequent diaper changes. Last night I noticed a red line on his groin and thought it was from his diaper. I’ve been making sure that the diaper is not laying in this spot but it’s getting darker. He also has a spot and small line on the other side. Not really sure what it could be from.

Is it in a roll? I know sometimes if you don’t dry in the rolls after a bath they can get a rash from the moisture

Maybe try a different diaper brand also leave him naked with some cream on it and just let him relax and take a break from the diaper.

Does it look shiny? Is it anywhere else beside his groin? Does it look like it has bumps or pimples? Usually if it appears in the groin areas and looks redder or “angrier” it tends to end up being a yeast diaper rash. I’m not a medical professional but I’ve dealt with one or two cases of yeast rash with my daughter and she’s had that before with it.

They have an awesome rash cream, it's called triple paste. It's a medicated ointment and it's always taken rashes away really fast

To me that looks like irritation from the elastic on the sides of the nappys, try leaving the nappy off for a little bit or some nappy cream with zinc in it, or baby May need to size up? Or maybe switch brands? Or you could try reusable nappys?
