Have you taken antidepressants while pregnant?

I’m 18 weeks and just got prescribed lexapro. I’m a little hesitant to take it but my mental health is very poor. Any experiences?

It’s important to take care of your mental health ❤️
I was on zoloft before pregnancy and was able to manage my depression well enough to wean off while pregnant but I kept a full prescription ready in case I needed it. I plan to use it when I get home from the hospital after having an admittedly traumatizing birth experience due to Covid. It’s one of the most well researched meds to take while pregnant or breastfeeding.
I don’t have experience with your brand but talk to your doctor about any and all concerns you have so they can best answer any questions.

I went on Zoloft postpartum but WISH I had started when I was pregnant. If you are mentally unwell, the best thing you can do is reach out and accept help as soon as possible. You will be so thankful that you did ❤️

Been on Lexapro 2 years and its great . No worries on pregnancy at all .
