Being called lady in the workplace

Ok so I just want to know am I being dramatic or not. I work at a police station as a clerk anyways there’s this sergeant that calls me lady instead of my actual name. He says things like Hey lady, hold on lady, or there you are lady. Am I being dramatic or is he being racist? There’s plenty of women that work there that he calls by there name except me and I’m the only black women there. Maybe I should mention that he’s a republican too if that has anything to do with it. I want to know am I overthinking or not. I read in the Jim Crow laws that educated whites would refer to black women as “collared ladies” or sometimes just “lady”. Please comment my mind is racing
