What are your thoughts on the comparison between Chris Watts and Brian Laundrie?

I have seen a lot of people comparing the two “men” and the details between the cases. 
Personally, I believe that outside of looks, the two of them (and their cases) aren’t really that similar. Chris Watts killed his pregnant wife and his 2 daughters and tried to hide their bodies while also trying to front for media. He played innocent, begging for people to help to find them. I don’t see how this would be comparable to Brian. 
!! I’m not in any way shape or form defending either of them, because I don’t believe either of them to be good people but presented very differently. !!

I personally don’t get “Chris watts vibes” from him. Chris Watts has a completely evil presence to me. He manipulated and abused his wife for years, pretended to have love for her and his kids, when in reality, he completely lacks the ability to love. You have to be an entirely different level of evil to kill children, let alone your OWN children. I do believe Brian to be guilty. But there’s so much that we don’t know. We really don’t know anything. It could have been an accident, it could have been premeditated, he could’ve gone on a killing spree like some people believe. But we really don’t know, and until we do, I don’t think we can compare him to the most evil man of our generation.

The only accurate thing between them is they’re both trash men. If neither were happy then leaving would’ve been the best option instead of killing their partners. 
I think Brian did because if he really loved her he would help or do all he could to find her. The fact he hasn’t provided information makes him suspicious.

Because the media allows many of you to think of these acts of violence towards women/girls as isolated events. 
Both are clear examples of femicide in the USA. I literally can’t stress enough how much we need to stop thinking of these men as one off, unconnected, acts of violence. In the USA, men are killing women on a daily basis. There IS a connection.

The comparison is because if how common it is for women to die at the hands of not only just men. But men close to them. Most people dont even question it when hearing these stories. The first thought is "he killed her"  because this shit happens all the time. And he likely fucking did.
I have watched so many videos on chris watts - that man pathetically said "i want them home" knowing damn well he killed them. "Idk where they are" knowing damn well he did. 
I havent watched anything on this case yet but he is refusing to cooperate no? And now hes missing?

Yeah I didn’t understand the Chris Watts comparisons either, like is the similarity that they’re white guys? 😅 I also feel it’s way too early to say the two are similar when we don’t even know what Laundries did and why.

I can't help but feel like there's a noticeable difference between killing a girlfriend and not talking
And killing your kids, literally stuffing them in oil barrels at work, and then crying for them to come back on the news...
Brian could be a murderer. There are a lot of those. It's cruel, but it's basic level murder. He likely killed, dumped her body, and moved on 
Chris killed his own babies. I believe he was even begged by one of them not to do it. He squeezed there bodies into too small holes. Then he went to work like nothing. Came home, acted distraught. And then begged for them back knowing HE killed them 
Different levels. Not comparable beyond the basic headline of 'murder'

I don’t like comparisons when it comes to people doing wrongdoings. I surely think Brian Laundrie is guilty but comparing people who do evil things is almost like a copycat mentality which I don’t think should be given any attention. Like another person said, Femicide happens everyday and THATS what should be addressed. I also hate these people supporting theories like that it’s all a hoax and they’re doing it for attention- it takes away from the victim.

They are not comparable since we do not know the full story on what actually happened. I think he has a big part in this but whether that makes him Chris Watts relatable is debatable.

Well, they are different because one is currently an ongoing investigation with almost no proven evidence, just assumption and opportunity,… and the other is a closed case with all evidence and a conviction. All things being said, I am not really for drawing conclusions in cases like this. I would rather wait to make this kind of comparison when / of the time comes.

I got Chris Watts vibes from the police bodycam footage during their breakdown fight. But the stories aren’t similar at all. 
The way that he had a grin on his face for a lot of the video while she was literally breaking down and seemed mentally unstable made me so uncomfortable. And then she ended up being called the abuser when he was calm and collected and literally smiling? It’s weird man. She seemed to cover for his abuse and ended up being called the abusive one instead. But the police should’ve caught on to his body language cuz he was wayyy to eager and energetic in the footage for someone who was just in an hours long heated argument
