Name issues

So we picked our boys name like months ago, but haven’t told anyone cause we are leaving the sex a surprise for our family. Well now someone on my SOs side who is due like 2 weeks before me has picked the same first name and a middle name that’s quite close. My SO wants to change the name now but I’m already attached. I’m not one to change things easily, it takes me a long time to pick a name because I have to feel it you know?

And now I’ve already bonded with this name and my SO wants to drop it. I actually cried a bit. Might cry some more not sure yet.

I told him I don’t care if there are two, it’s not like we hang out with this other person, but he keeps suggesting other names and idk if I can change what I already picked.
