Well... Pick up didn't go well
So an update on my parents getting divorced. Recap, my dad cheated on my mom with my male civics teacher. Now they're getting a divorce and gave split custody of me. I'm hurt and so angry with my dad and me and him have always been close. My mom has started drinking and abusing me. She will call me a pos. Throw vodka bottles at me. Slap me. Last night I got dragged by my hair and locked in my room. Everything has been all bad. My dad picked me up for my week with him today. This is my first time seeing him alone in a minute. I got my stuff and he was at the door. My mom went outside and yelled "If you want a husband who cheats on you with a man here he is!" So then they started fighting. My dad was saying how my mom emotionally checked out if their marriage a long time ago and emotionally checked out of our family. She was calling him names and saying he's a lie. He said "You don't even know what grade Kyla is in!" My mom said "7th" and my dad said "She's a sophomore in High school!" My mom asked how old I was and I said I'll be 17 in February. They kept fighting and my dad said "You literally would ditch me on date night to hang out with your male friends! Where you fucking any of them?!" Mom said "If I was at least my black friends got a bigger dick!" It was all so uncomfortable.... So the rest of the fighting was my dad saying you never listen. You were never there and my mom saying she has a life besides this stupid family and my dad saying "You know what, I shouldn't have cheated. I should have divorced your ass years ago!"
And now I'm at my dad's apartment. Civics teacher is here to so awkward... I was gonna tell my dad about mom becoming abusive but now I think it's a bad time...
Edit: My mom isn't horrible... I'm not condoning my dad cheating... I'm so mad at him for that. But she was a very absent mom and wife. My mom doesn't know how to put others before herself or love people the right way. She tells me all the time about her parents marriage was so God awful. My mom never learned how to correctly love someone. Her mom always taught her to always look out for herself and nobody else... Not even her daughter ...
